Cloud increasing through the afternoon, with rain or sleet spreading east later, some heavy, accompanied by strong winds.

Outlook for the weekend

  • Saturday, early rain or sleet clearing then scattered wintry showers. Winds gradually moderating.

  • Sunday and Monday, becoming mostly dry and bright, but cold with night frosts and some fog patches.
