The Environment Agency has issued a number of flood warning for coastal areas and tidal rivers in the Anglia region.

A Flood Warning means flooding is expected and immediate action is required.

Snape, Iken and surrounding marshland in Suffolk

The forecast high water is due at Lowestoft at 08:00 am on 22 October 2014.

Properties are expected to flood at Snape Maltings, Priory Road and The Street at Snape and surrounding marshland.

North Bank of Lake Lothing in Suffolk

The forecast high water is due at Lowestoft at 08:30 am on 22 October 2014

Locations are affected in Denmark Road and Commercial Road in Lowestoft, including the railway station and the railway line.

Blythburgh and marshes in Suffolk

The forecast high water is due at Lowestoft at 08:30 am on 22nd October 2014.

Blythburgh and marshes upstream of A12. Flooding is expected for the A12 at Blythburgh.

Southwold and surrounding marshes

Flooding is expected for The Southwold Harbour area, Ferry road, the bottoms of Queens Road and Constitution Hill, North Road, the bottom of Pier Avenue and Mights Road in Southwold. Bridge Road and Hillside Road in Reydon.

Riverside properties along the tidal River Yare including Cantley, Brundall and Reedham

The forecast high water is due at Great Yarmouth at 9:15pm on the 21 October 2014.

Locations affected are riverside properties in Reedham, Cantley and Brundall. Roads affected include Ferry Road in Reedham, the A47 and the railway line between Reedham and Brundall.

Lower River Bure

Locations affected are riverside and rural properties in West Caister, Runham, Acle and Stokesby. Roads likely to be affected are the A47, A1064 and Acle Bridge.

Isolated low lying properties along the tidal River Waveney

Locations affected are riverside properties at St Olaves, Somerleyton, Burgh St Peter, Oulton Broad and Beccles, including all boat yards. Roads likely to be affected include Beccles Road at St Olaves, Geldeston Lock Lane, Gillingham Dam and Fen Lane in Beccles.

There are a number of lower level flood alerts also in place.

A Flood Alert means flooding is possible and be prepared.

  • Tidal River Waveney from Ellington to Breydon Water

  • Tidal Rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne

  • Tidal River Yare from Thorpe St Andrew to Breydon Water

  • Essex Coast from Clacton to St Peter's Flat including the Rivers Colne and Blackwater Esturaries

  • Essex Coast from St Peter's Flat to Shoeburyness including the Crouch and Roach Estuaries

  • Tidal River Deben

  • The Suffolk and Essex coast from Felixstowe to Clacton inclduing Orwell and Stour Estuaries

  • Suffolk coast from Lowestoft to Bawdsey

  • Suffolk coast at Southwold

  • Norfolk coast at Great Yarmouth
