Is tiny Belle the terrier the smallest dog in the world?

A guest house owner from Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, is wondering if her dinky dog is the smallest in the world because it's the same size as her pet hamster.

Belle is seven weeks old and is eight times smaller than she should be.

The palm-sized pooch is a Yorkshire Terrier and the sole survivor of a litter of four.

Belle is owned by Karenza Cruse , who has to feed her with a syringe because she is so small.

Now Karenza thinks that Belle who is named after Tinkerbelle the fairy, may be the smallest dog in the world.
