A series of thunderstorms sweeping across Norfolk have produced spectacular lightning shows and heavy downpours on Saturday evening.
Chris Grimmer sent the picture below to ITV News Anglia and commented:
The thunderstorms produced torrential downpours and some large hail.
Hailstones more than 10mm or half an inch across were recorded in the village of Easton to the west of Norwich.
The Met Office rainfall radar captured the storms passing to the north of Norwich at about 6pm on Saturday 11 October.
The white echoes on the chart below indicate torrential downpours with rainfall rates in excess of 32 mm of rain per hour.
