Nearly a quarter of children under the age of 10 here in the east can't say Spaghetti.

Research published this morning shows more and more parents are turning to technology to try and help children learn to read.

Phonics is used to help children learn the sounds to make words easier to say and from this year is being introduced in the national curriculum.

Other common words which children here struggle with are Binoculars and Ambulance.
