Visitors flock to Thriplow Daffodil festival
It is a busy weekend for the Cambridgeshire village of Thriplow which is hosting its annual daffodil festival.
The event has been running since 1969 and like the daffodils it grows every year. It now raises many thousands of pounds for local charities.
Daffodils are only part of the attraction, morris dancers, working sheepdog demonstrations, birds of prey and heavy horse rides are also on offer.
The organiser Dan Murton says around 5000 people visited on Saturday and similar numbers are expected today.
