Picture Gallery: East Anglia under a cloud of smog as air pollution levels soar

The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has warned that our region is one of the worst-affected by "very high" levels of air pollution.

North-west Norfolk hit the highest warning level on Tuesday, but the smog has now spread across much of the East.
