Fakenham chocolate factory creates 50 jobs
A West Norfolk confectionery company has been awarded a contracted with Unilever to make a new type of chocolate for the well known ice-cream brand.
650 people are employed at Kinnerton Confectionery in Fakenham and now the company is looking to employ 50 new staff.The contract to make the new ice-cream style chocolates is a boost to the chocolate company which has in the past relied on seasonal production of easter eggs and advent calendar chocolates.
Conservative MP's Henry Bellingham (North West Norfolk) Chloe Smith (Norwich) and Keith Simpson (Broadland), were treated to a tour of the Kinnerton factory in Fakenham.
