Daughter-in-law of Eddie Maher 'feared for her life'
The daughter-in-law of the Suffolk fugitive Eddie Maher has appeared on ITV's Daybreak programme explaining her reasons for handing him in to the US authorities.
She said she was in fear of her life after finding out his true identity.
Maher - known as "Fast Eddie" - was jailed for five years for the theft of a security van containing £1.2 million from outside the Lloyds Bank in Felixstowe in 1993.
The 57-year-old spent almost 20 years on the run in the US before being arrested in February last year.
Jessica King, Ex-wife of Maher's son Lee, said: "I was in fear for my life and to be honest it was the right thing to do."
