Christmas tree recycling in Bedford

Bedford Borough Council is urging people to recycle their Christmas trees in the New Year.

The council will be operating eight sites from the 5th to the 12th January and local residents can drop off their trees which will be taken away and recycled.

Local residents can take their trees to any of the following sites between 5th and 12th January.

· Hillgrounds Road, Kempston. Opposite the shops near Hartwell Drive

· Jubilee Park, opposite North Lodge, Canvin Way

· Milton Ernest Garden Centre, Radwell Road off the A6

· Mowsbury Park car park, Kimbolton Road

· Podington Garden Centre, High Street, Podington

· Roxton Garden Centre

· Seasons Garden Centre, A6 at Wilstead

· Bedford Household Waste Recycling Centre, Barkers Lane, Bedford

After 12th January, trees can still be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Barkers Lane.
