Barracks closure puts snowsports club under threat

A snowsports club based at the Bassingbourn army base near Cambridge is facing an uncertain future following an announcement from the Ministry of Defence that the barracks will close next year.

The MOD has said the club must stop using the base's dry ski slope when the Army Training Regiment leaves in March.
