Scientists discover new planet which could support life

Scientists from the University of Hertfordshire have helped to discover a new planet which could support life.

The planet which is much bigger than Earth has been discovered in a solar system 42 light years from the Sun and is one of six new worlds to be discovered.

The University was part of a European-wide initiative to discover new planets.
