Frankel bows out in style
Wonder horse Frankel bowed out of competitive racing today with yet another win.
Despite a slow start on unfavourably soft ground the Newmarket trained 4-year-old won the Champion Stakes at Ascot today by a length and three quarters from last year's winner Cirrus des Aigles.
Ridden by Tom Queally and trained by Sir Henry Cecil, Frankel has won all 14 of his races. He's now expected to go to stud, where it's estimated he'll earn more than a hundred million pounds.
