Dream comes true for sleepless Brian

Brian Wood from Luton hasn't slept properly for more than 50 years.

Now the 78-year-old has finally been able to get a good night's sleep thanks to doctors at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

Mr Wood has terminal bowel cancer and has been given just weeks to live.

He's says he's got things to do in that time and and a good night's sleep would really help.

So last night, Doctors at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital agreed to give him that one night's sleep by anaesthetising him.
