Crom-com: Norfolk pier stars in new movie

A film shot on and around Cromer Pier is being screened in Norfolk.

The romantic comedy, called In Love With Alma Cogan, features Norfolk-based Roger Lloyd Pack of Vicar of Dibley and Only Fools and Horses fame.

In the film Lloyd Pack plays the lead. He's manager of a cash-strapped seaside theatre who's sentimental about the sixties singing star he once briefly met.

The film was made in Cromer in November 2010 and is helmed by another Norfolk resident Tony Britten.

There's also a cameo appearance from movie legend John Hurt, who also lives in Norfolk, who plays one of the theatre's star turns.

The film is being screened at Cinema City in Norwich until October 25th.
