Fire service completes investigation into school blaze

An investigation into a fire at Sawston College in Cambridgeshire is expected to be completed today (Monday 10th September).

The blaze began on Thursday afternoon in the library, which was the oldest part of the building. At its height flames reached 25 feet into the air.

Eight crews were called to tackle the fire. Staff and students were evacuated from the building, and nobody was hurt.
