Paralympic Games: Furious cyclist Jody Cundy denied re-start after faulty start

Norfolk cyclist Jody Cundy has been given a 'Did Not Finish' after judges refused to allow him a re-start.

The gold-medal favourite stumbled out of the starting block in the 1km time trial.

The judges said his faulty start was his error rather than a problem with the starting equipment.

A furious Cundy remonstrated with the judges and had to be led away.

British rider Jon-Allan Butterworth won a silver medal in the C4-5 race.
