A14 crash brings busy road to a standstill

An investigation is under way after a crash involving two lorries brought one of the busiest roads in the ITV Anglia region to a standstill for 4 hours.

Police shut the westbound carriageway of the A14 in Cambridgeshire between junctions 31 and 26 as salvage crews worked to remove the wreckage. A section of the M11 was also closed as a result.

Police say nobody was seriously injured.
