Osagie proud to be part of history
Harlow athlete Andrew Osagie says he's proud to have played a part in an historic Olympic final.
Last night's final was the fastest 800m in history, the winner Dasvid Rudisha smashed the world record and the seven other finallists all broke national records or recorded personal bests.
The Team GB middle distance star became the first British male athlete to make it to an Olympic 800m final in 20 years. And he joked that he was now the world record holder for the fastest person to finish in eighth place.
Speaking to Jonathan Wills and Emma Baker, the 24-year-old, said his Olympic final run had been a fantastic experience and one he was confident of building upon.
