Goldie Sayers is out of the 2012 Olympics javelin competition. The 30 year old from Newmarket in Suffolk had been battling an arm injury in the run-up to the Olympics.

Her first two throws were fouls and with her arm clearly troubling her, her third effort wasn't enough to stay in the competition.
