Barn owl numbers soaring say council

The number of barn owls in South Norfolk is soaring. That's according to the latest count from the Council's countryside ranger.

Four years ago, it put up 30 barn owl boxes to help stem the decline of the birds. About half now have barn owls nesting in them.
