Suffolk painting could break sales record

A painting by the famous Suffolk artist John Constable is expected to fetch more than £20,000,000 when it goes up for auction later.

'The Lock' depicts a rural scene around Flatford Mill in Suffolk in the 19th century.

The Lock, is to be offered for sale at Christie's where it could become one of the most expensive British paintings to be sold at auction.
