Wattisham wives help Sing reach number one
The Diamond jubilee anthem ‘Sing’ featuring the wives of soldiers based at Wattisham airfield in Suffolk has leapt to the top of the charts.
The Wattisham choir performed with the writers of the song Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Jubilee concert outside Buckingham palace last week.
Since then the song has made 142,000 sales, making it the biggest selling number one of the year so far.
