Detectives continue to question suspect over Bedfordshire teen death
Detectives are continuing to question a 19 year old man after a school girl was murdered in Bedfordshire.
Police were called to a house on Ailsbury Road in Ampthill at 1.30 on Saturday morning.
The victim, who's been named locally as Megan-Leigh Peat is believed to have been stabbed to death.
Throughout today friends have arrived in Ampthill to lay flowers and pay their respects to 15 year old Megan Peat, a secondary school student from Flitwick.
They've described her as a selfless and lovely person who would always respect other people and take them under her wings. .
Neighbours say the family who live in the house where the teenager was found are away on holiday.
It's thought their eighteen year old son may have thrown a party which Megan was invited to, which then got out of control.
Witnesses have described a man covered in blood leaving the house int he early hours of Saturday morning.
Meanwhile there have been scores of tributes to Megan on Facebook and Twitter, each painting a picture of a bubbly girl who dreamed of becoming a midwife.
