Milton Keynes table tennis player Andrew Baggaley is the latest sports star from the ITV Anglia region to be called up for Team GB's Olympic squad.

The 29 year old is ranked number one in the country, and is the most successful English player in the Commonwealth games.

He's won a total of five medals, including two golds at the games in Manchester in 2002.

Baggaley, who plays for French National League club Fontenay, enjoyed a series of top class results on the ITTF World Tour, and latterly at the final World Olympic Qualification tournament in Doha, Qatar.

The three times English Men's Singles National Champion, who's coached by his brother Stephen, said "It is a very proud moment to be selected to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

'It will be an amazing experience to be part of Team GB in London and I can now concentrate on remaining fit, healthy and at peak form for the biggest event of my career."
