WWII pilot's plane found in Sahara desert

Amazing pictures have been released of a second world war fighter plane found in the Sahara desert - which had been flown by the son of a dentist from Southend.

The remains of the RAF Kittyhawk have been discovered 70 years after it crashed hundreds of miles from civilisation. It's pilot was Flight Sergeant Dennis Copping. It's believed he took what he could from the wreckage and set off into the sand. never to be heard of again. A search has begun for his remains.
