Norwich singer Sam Kelly through to final of Britain's Got Talent
Sam Kelly from Spixworth near Norwich has made it through to the final of Britain's Got Talent after winning the public vote.
The 19 year old wowed the judges and the audience alike with a performance of the Goo Goo Dolls song 'Iris' in the live semi-final last night.
After finding out he'd got through he said : "I literally don't believe it. I didn't expect to get this far. I can't believe people voted for me. It's such an amazing feeling."
He had earlier praised his music teacher, Chris Cawson at Sprowston Community High School for inspiring him. He joins two other finalists from our region - Ashleigh and her performing dog, Pudsey, from Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, and singer Molly Rainford from Chelmsford in Essex.
The live final takes place on Saturday. The winner will received £500,000 prize money and the chance to appear before the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
