Conservative majority: 26

A safe Conservative council – the only one in the Anglia region to stay Tory even during the Conservatives’ lowest ebb in the mid 1990s. The Conservatives have had an overall majority on Huntingdonshire Council since 1976.

New council: Con 39 (-2), LD 7 (-1), UKIP 3 (+1), Others 2 (+1), Lab 1 (+1)
