Britain in Bloom
Wild-flower meadows are being sown in Norfolk on the 14th and 15th April to mark the launch of the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Britain in Bloom campaign.
The society wants to replenish some of the 97% of wild-flower meadows that it says have been lost in England and Wales since 1930. It believes pressures from agriculture and development, together with neglect, continue to impact on the remaining areas, and that this is having a significant impact on our ecosystem.
Groups and schools in Norfolk are among 1,200 people in the UK who'll be sowing some of the millions of wild-flower seeds provided by the RHS.
