Complaints over new rail franchise

Just weeks into their contract, the new Dutch operators of the rail service between parts of East Anglia and London are facing complaints from passengers.

One regular traveller, Colchester's veteran MP Sir Bob Russell, claims thas the service has actually deteriorated since Abellio took over - and that the promised improvements have not materialised.

He is planning to lodge an official complaint with the Secretary of State for Transport and wants to hear from other dis-satisfied rail travellers.
