Youtuber Yung Filly admits to reckless driving while on bail for rape charges
British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has admitted to reckless driving in Australia while on bail for sexual assault charges.
The 29-year-old, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, pleaded guilty to the driving charge on December 5 at Perth Magistrates Court.
The social media star was found driving over 96mph on the Roe Highway near the Perth suburb of High Wycombe on November 17.
He is on bail after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s on September 28 in a Perth hotel room, after performing at a venue in Hillarys, a coastal suburb of Perth, the day before.
He is charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of causing bodily harm through assault.
Filly is also accused of obstructing a woman’s breathing by applying pressure to her neck.
No plea has been given in relation to the sexual assault charges.Filly's bail was extended until his next court appearance on January 30.
During his initial court hearing in October, Filly was granted bail with strict conditions.
The social media influencer, who has 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and millions of Instagram and TikTok followers, was ordered to surrender his passport and must report to police seven days a week.
He is also banned from discussing the case online and cannot come within 500 metres of two people identified in the court.
The British Colombian rose to social media fame in 2017 and has collaborated with other YouTubers such as KSI and Chunkz.
He hosted the BBC show Hot Property and appeared on Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off in 2022.
He also took part in the charity game Soccer Aid in 2020 alongside other influencers and sports stars.
