ITV News Politics on socials

Follow the ITV Politics' Instagram and TikTok accounts for tailor made Westminster content direct to your phone.

Our team will explain the knottiest issues of the day, highlight the standout clips from the campaign trail, and bring personality to political coverage.

ITV News also has a dedicated Politics X (formerly known as Twitter) account, where key clips, politics stories and blogs from our correspondents are posted throughout the day.

ITV News now has a WhatsApp channel - that means your news can be delivered straight to your phone, like any other WhatsApp contact.

The message comes through with a brief description of the story, and a link to the main article on the ITV News website, so you can get a bitesized snippet on the go, or read the full story.

You can also react with emojis to each story or forward articles to friends as you would on a normal WhatsApp conversation.

How do I get ITV News WhatsApp?

1. Open WhatsApp as normal

2. Click on the Updates option (this can be found either at the top or bottom of your home page, depending on whether you have an Android or iPhone).

3. Type ITV News into the search bar and click the plus sign.
