Kim Kardashian passes 'baby bar' law exam on fourth attempt
Kim Kardashian has said she has passed the first bar exam required to become a lawyer in the state of California after two years of attempts, the star revealed on Monday.
Posting on Instagram she did not hold back her excitement saying: "I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!"
She has previously failed the exam three times, although in her Instagram post she claimed the third time she sat it she was suffering from Covid.
The baby bar is the first of two exams needed to become an attorney in California, but it has a higher fail rate than the senior one.
Ms Kardashian said: "I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals."
She thank US broadcaster Van Jones for encouraging her to get involved in law in the first place and introducing her to legal mentors.
She also praised her late father who was a hugely successful lawyer in LA saying, "I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner.
"I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!"
Ms Kardashian has advocated for several people recently, using her wealth and influence to secure help for a variety of those who need it.
She recently paid for the junior women's Afghan football team and their families - around 130 in total - to escape the country and settle in the UK.
Last year she campaigned for a last-minute pardon of death row inmate Brandon Bernard, but President Donald Trump refused to intervene and he was executed.
