Front pages focus on leaked recording of Downing Street staff laughing about Christmas party

Papers on both sides of the political spectrum are united in coverage after ITV News revealed senior Downing Street staff joked about holding a Christmas party in Number 10 just four days after the event is alleged to have taken place

The Daily Mail writes "a sick joke" with an image of the PM's then spokeswoman Allegra Stratton laughing.

The Guardian says the footage does suggest a Christmas Party was held during lockdown, despite repeated denials by Downing Street.

The Metro brands those involved "No10 party clowns".
