Covid: 201 new deaths and 38,263 cases recorded in the UK
The UK has recorded 38,263 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24-hours, while the number of deaths has risen by 201.
The total death toll now stands at 143,360.
Separate figures published by the Office for National Statistics show there have now been 168,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.

England
30,638 of the UK's new cases were confirmed in England. Since the start of the outbreak, the nation has recorded 8,205,448 positive tests. 159 deaths were recorded in England on Wednesday, which takes the death toll to 124,813.
Scotland
Meanwhile, Scotland reported 3,360 new cases, which means the overall number of confirmed cases in the nation is now 691,939.
Some 13 new deaths were recorded and the death toll is now 9,419.
Wales
Wales' death toll rose 6,314 to on Tuesday after 17 deaths were reported.
2,417 new cases were recorded, which brings the total since the start of the pandemic to 479,712.Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland recorded 1,848 new cases on Wednesday and a further 12 deaths.
The overall number of cases since the start of the outbreak has reached 9,651, while the death toll is 2,814.
