Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood will miss this week's show, after testing positive for Covid.

The Australia-born ballroom dancer will return to the show next week, after self-isolating for a few days in accordance with government guidelines.

The BBC made the announcement on Monday evening, but Mr Revel Horwood is yet to make a statement himself.

The 56-year-old is the latest member of the dance contest to miss a show due to a positive Covid test.

Loose Women's Judi Love had to pull out of an October programme after she tested positive.

McFly singer Tom Fletcher and his Strictly partner Amy Dowden were also forced to miss a show due to positive Covid tests.
