ITN correspondent Paul Davies retires after 39 years of covering biggest stories around the world
ITV News Presenter Tom Bradby looks back at the formidable career of Paul Davies
Paul Davies has been a permanent fixture on our TV screens for almost four decades.
With his trademark moustache, empathetic nature and bravery, he has covered some of the biggest stories at home and abroad.
His remarkable account of the siege of Dubrovnik remains one of the most famous in ITN’s history and his storytelling has ploughed into the dark depths of history, covering the horror of the Srebrenica genocide.
Risk has always been a big part of his career, but he told ITV News Presenter Tom Bradby he would do it all again, but perhaps with less naivety next time.
He leaves ITN having brought the modern world into our living rooms and allowed us to witness a new world being born.
