Beauty Youtuber Bretman Rock has become the first openly gay man to appear on the cover of Playboy.

The 23-year-old Filipino star, who rose to fame on Youtube before landing his own MTV show, has landed the digital cover of Playboy's latest issue after the magazine went fully online last year.

Rock said: "For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community, and it's all so surreal.

Rock added being on the cover of Playboy had always been a dream for him, but he didn’t think it would be possible.

He wrote: "This dates back to when my manager sat me down and asked, 'what do you want to do?' I jokingly said Playboy because I didn’t think it was possible."

In a shoot by Brian Ziff, Rock posed in the signature Playboy bunny ears, cuffs and bow tie while wearing a black corset, tights and wedge platforms.

Rapper Bad Bunny became the magazine's first male's male cover star last July while Ezra Miller also wore bunny ears for his feature with Playboy.

Rock has his own reality series called MTV Following: Bretman Rock.

The star, born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii, rose to fame with his contouring videos in 2015.

He has 8.8 million subscribers on Youtube and more than 17 million followers on Instagram.
