UK reports 33 more deaths from Covid-19 as cases rise by 35,077
The UK has recorded a further 33 deaths from Covid-19 as cases rose by 35,077.
The total number of deaths in the UK now stands at 136,986.
Separate figures published by the Office for National Statistics show there have been 161,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.Deaths have been falling sharply in recent days with the seven-day average down almost 20% while the number of cases has stayed steady.

England
England reported 28,251 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday and 13 more deaths.
Wales
Unusually, Wales reported more deaths from Covid-19 on Monday than England with 17. They also recorded 3,986 new cases.
Scotland
Scotland reported 1,760 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday but no new deaths.
Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland reported 3 new deaths from Covid-19 on Monday and 1,080 new cases.
