Bond fans explain why they booked a midnight viewing of No Time To Die
James Bond fans "could not wait any longer" to see No Time To Die, after the movie was delayed almost two years due to the pandemic.
Cinemagoers arrived at Vue Cinema in Leicester Square for the 00:01 screening on Thursday morning to be the first to see a public viewing of Daniel Craig's last James Bond film.
"I've been a huge fan of James Bond since I was a kid. This is the last film of Daniel so I think it's going to be a good one.
"I want to avoid spoilers so that's why I'm here at this time!" said Santago, who attended the screening alone.
Roland, 20, feels emotional about Daniel Craig saying farewell to the role - for some, he has been a generation of James Bond.

Roland said: "I was five years old when Daniel Craig's first movie Casino Royal came out.
"I grew up with him, he's done such a great job.
And with the duration of the film at 2 hours 43 minutes, Roland said: "I take comfort knowing that it's the longest James Bond film they've ever made, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they use that time."
University students also attended the first screening, with many enjoying the excitement of Freshers week.
Tristan attended the screening with a group of friends, he said: "It's Freshers week isn't it, so why not?
"It's Daniel Craig's last movie, and we have Billie Eilish on the soundtrack!"
It was after 3am when the crowd exited the cinema, with many giving rave reviews on the latest James Bond installment.

It was Jessica's first time watching a Bond film and she was impressed.
She said: "It was witty, it didn't miss the mark at any point.
"It was really good with action packed as well as romance, it had everything."
And with a plot twist at some point in the film, one fan was kept on his toes.
Myles said: "It was iconic as always. It was very exciting, lots of twist and turns, lots of locations.
"Daniel Craig is completely on form. I definitely recommend."
As Daniel Craig bids farewell to his career-defining role as 007 and the producers of the James Bond franchise have revealed that the search to replace him is not yet underway, some fans had some suggestions.
Some included Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston and Tom Hardy to name a few.
No Time To Die sees Bond enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica when his old friend and CIA agent Felix Leiter, played by Jeffrey Wright, turns up asking for help.The film is out in cinemas now.
