Sabina Nessa: Vigil to be held for primary school teacher
A vigil is to be held to remember primary school teacher Sabina Nessa, who was killed in a London park.
Ms Nessa's body was found by a passerby in Cator Park in Kidbrooke, south-east London, on Saturday.
The 28-year-old had been walking to a pub to meet a friend last Friday when she was attacked.
The journey to the pub near her home should have taken just five minutes.
Ms Nessa’s cousin Zubel Ahmed described the teacher as a “beautiful, kind, caring soul”.
Mr Ahmed told ITV London: "Nothing is making sense to us, why was she taken from us we just don't know."
He said her mum and dad are "inconsolable".
He added: "There's no words, no words you can say. It's the worst way for someone to go, by the hands of someone else. It's just devastating."
Reclaim the Streets is organising a vigil for Ms Nessa and said it is “angry and heartbroken” about her murder.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Ms Nessa’s murder, Met Police said.
The man was arrested at a property in Lewisham on Thursday and is being questioned.
On Saturday, police arrested another man in connection with the attack, but he was released under further investigation.
Detectives investigating her death have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.
The image show the man walking in Pegler Square, Kidbrooke, on the evening Ms Nessa was attacked.
Another image shows a silver vehicle they believe he has access to.
Investigators are asking anyone who recognises him or the vehicle to contact them immediately.
Mr Nessa's death comes after the public outrage and protests over the murder of 33-year-old Sarah Everard as she walked home in south London in March.
