Mila Sneddon is encouraging people to 'Scoot in September', ITV News Scotland Correspondent Peter Smith reports
Five-year-old leukaemia patient Mila Sneddon, who touched the hearts of the nation when she was separated from her father during lockdown, is encouraging people to 'Scoot in September' to help other young cancer patients like her.
Just before the coronavirus pandemic, Mila was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia and had to undergo chemotherapy.
It meant she had to be separated from her dad, who had to keep going to work.
The image of Mila greeting her dad as they were separated by a window was seen around the country.
And after two months apart, ITV News witnessed the emotional reunion.

Mila's story even inspired the Duchess of Cambridge and she was invited to meet Kate, with both agreeing to wear pink.
Now Mila is starting her own charity campaign as she invites kids and adults to join her by hopping on their their scooters to raise money for Blood Cancer UK.
But it will not be easy for Mila as she is still going though chemotherapy.
The five-year-old said: "All you need is a scooter and then you get on your scooters and scoot."
She added: "If people donate money, then it'll help me get better soon."
