Coronavirus: How to get a job if you have lost yours during the lockdown

Coronavirus has shaken up the job market and finding employment seems harder than ever before.

New figures show the number of job vacancies in the UK has plummeted by 70 per cent compared to this time last year. Applicants are fighting more and more people for the few roles available as industries such as retail and motor vehicle repair decline.

ITV News spoke to UK Staffing Group director in Manchester Alex Platt who says their recruitment service is getting up to 100 people applying for a job a day.He shared his top tips on how to beat the competition and get a job during lockdown.
