Teenagers reel in 700-pound tuna after seven-hour fight
Watch the teenagers reel the gigantic fish in and pull it to shore
Three teenage fishermen from the United States have caught a 700-pound bluefin tuna after a seven-hour struggle.
Wayne Morse, 17, Martin Scanlan, 16, and Griffin Buckwalter, 16, set off on the trip when a huge fish hit their line off the coast of Maine.
The trio alternated reeling duties for seven hours as they fought to bring their catch to the surface.
They soon realised the fish was too big to fit in their boat, so dragged the fish towards the shore where Morse's father met them with a bigger boat.
Once horizontal on dry land, the tuna measured just over nine feet long.
The teenagers eventually sold the gigantic fish to a seafood distributor for $2,000 (£1,594).
A video of the catch has been viewed thousands of times on Mr Buckwalter's 'Griffin b' YouTube channel.
