UK coronavirus death toll rises by 67 bringing total to 44,198
The UK coronavirus death toll has risen by a further 67, according to the latest figures from the Department of Health and Social Care (DoH).
The latest reported deaths brings the total number of patients who have died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for Covid-19 in the UK to 44,198.
The government figures do not include all deaths involving Covid-19 across the UK, which are thought to have passed 55,000 according to Office for National Statistics data.
Saturday's update comes as lockdown measures across England ease, with many businesses reopening their doors for the first time since restrictions were introduced.

England
Of the latest reported UK virus deaths, 39 occurred in hospitals in England.
The coronavirus death toll in the country now stands at 28,871 according to NHS England.
Scotland
Health authorities in Scotland reported no new deaths in patients who have tested positive for the virus. The death toll there remains at 2,488.
The country has 11 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number to 18,287.
Wales
Public Health Wales have reported a further five Covid-19 deaths, raising the total death toll there to 1,530.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Wales stands at 15,875.
Northern Ireland
The latest Covid-19 death toll in Northern Ireland stands at 554. Health authorities are yet to release Saturday's update.
