Have you heard the one about comedians in lockdown?
Video report by ITV News Presenter Charlene White
With no comedy venues open, some performers who have turned online are reaching far bigger audiences, with their type of humour and clever digital editing a perfect fit for social media.
ITV News Presenter Charlene White has been speaking to some of those who have lit up the internet with laughter.
Performer Meggie Foster, who has more than 100,000 followers on Twitter, has been renown for her impressions of various politicians and even of our very own Political Editor Robert Peston, which gathered more than half a million views.
Comedian Michael Spicer has also done sketches including "being Health Secretary Matt Hancock's ear" during the coronavirus briefing.
Meanwhile Munya Chawawa has also produced several mock news bulletins as well as sketches imitating Jamie Oliver and Craig David to keep people entertained on social media during the pandemic.
