Scotland reports no coronavirus deaths for fourth consecutive day as UK death toll rises by 25
The UK coronavirus death toll has increased by 25 according to the latest figures from the Department of Health and Social Care (Doh).
It comes as Scotland reported no Covid-19 deaths for a fourth consecutive day, with the death toll there remaining at 2,482.
A total of 43,575 people have now died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK as of 5pm on Sunday.
The government figures do not include all deaths involving Covid-19 across the UK, which are thought to have passed 54,000.
The number of fatalities from the virus worldwide has surpassed half a million.
Of the latest UK figures, NHS England reported a further 19 Covid-19 deaths in hospitals in England.
The latest figures brings the total death toll there to 28,672.
In Wales, a further three patients died after testing positive for coronavirus - raising the total death toll there to 1,507.
It comes as Welsh families were told they will soon be able to reunite under new rules - allowing two households to join together to form one extended household.
While the death toll from the virus in Northern Ireland rose by one to 551.
Announcing the fourth consecutive day of no reported Covid-19 deaths in Scotland, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said there were now 18,241 confirmed cases of the virus.
