Children in Wales return to school for the first time since March
Children have returned to primary and secondary schools in Wales for the first time since March, after restrictions were imposed to halt the spread of coronavirus. Unlike England, all year groups will be returning before the end of the Summer Term, but they'll be split up, with only a third of pupils in school at any one time.
With pupils in the playground again some parents have the opportunity to get back to their own workplaces although with most children only getting one day a week in school the benefits maybe short-lived.Inside pupils find the same classrooms but with a radically different layout as hand hygiene is prioritised and social distancing is mandatory. ITV News Wales Correspondent Rupert Evelyn heard from parents, children and teachers from Crosskeys in South Wales on their first day back.
