A warm day with plenty of sunshine for most of the country

A warm day for many with spells of sunshine, but cloudier across some western parts with showery rain.

As temperatures rise, a few heavy showers will develop across Northern Ireland and some western and central areas of England and Wales.

Temperatures will reach highs of 23 Celsius (73F) and it will feel noticeably warmer along North Sea coasts.
