Showery rain across northern Scotland will pull away northwards.

Showers in the southwest of the UK will bodily spread northeastwards, with some of these turning heavy and perhaps thundery.

In between there will be some sunshine, with many southern counties seeing a largely dry end to the day.

Breezy for many parts, but feeling reasonably warm in any sunshine. Top temperature 21 Celsius (70F).
